A couple weeks ago, our friend Yuen brought her family over to capture some photos of tiny little Shaelynn and the family. I know she keeps Yuen up at night, but her total zonked-outness, her wrinkly little toes, and that wicked little grin made her an easy target for photos.
A couple weeks ago, our friend Kathrine invited me to capture 5 day old little Hunter in all his glory. And while there’s a ton of shots I’m happy with, these are the ones that really pull at me with his teeny tiny toes, his wrinkly little hands, and the never-ending nuzzling into mum and dad’s nooks and crannies.
One of my bestest friends in the whole world asked if I could shoot her, her husband, his sister, and her wife last weekend – and while it was sorta last minute as they rushed to get ready for a trip, it was one of my favorite shoots to date. Soooo many photos to choose from with these four who were just so laidback and fun, such great lighting with the fall weather, and of course amazing colors at Granville Island. LOVE THESE.
Back in September, I had the privilege of hanging out with Laura, her brother, his daughter, and their parents at Granville Island. We got to walk around, check out some of my favorite spots, and do it all in weather that was JUST slightly starting to turn fall-ish.
Like Patty, one of my favorite places in Vancouver is Granville Island. A couple weeks ago I got to hang out with Bonnie and Ang on a Friday night, just shooting shots, and capturing how easy these sisters were together.

Last Sunday I met up with the Bender family again to get a few more shots of the family together. With great early morning light, we really nailed a whole new pile of great photos!
Last Sunday, I spent some time with Catherine, Tom, and Sophia at one of my most favorite places around – Kits Beach. With the weather cooperating, and them coming really prepared with all sorts of things to keep Sophia entertained, we got some really great shots. I can’t wait to send their whole batch off to them this weekend so they get to see everything we got!
One of my most favorite places in Vancouver is Granville Island. It has amazing colors everywhere, its very easy to find great places for photos. I spent last Tuesday with a the Vellos family, such a beautiful family with an amazing vibe! It was so each to capture this vibe on camera!
Two weeks ago I left my husband and kiddo, and took off to New Orleans for 6 days with a girlfriend. While I luv her to death, and the fun we had sans-kids was awesome, one of my favorite parts of the trip was wandering the city taking photos while she was in conference.
